West Wide Energy Corridor Draft PEIS Map Data in Keyhole Markup Language (KML) Format
Draft PEIS map data including proposed Section 368 energy corridors, in KML format, for viewing with Google Earth or ArcGIS Explorer.
The West Wide Energy Corridor Draft PEIS KML file can be used with free Google Earth, or ESRI ArcGIS Explorer software, all of which allow viewing of proposed corridors and other data selected by the user. You must have one of these software programs (or similar KML-compatible software) installed to view the KML file. An active Internet connection is required for normal viewing of maps with Google Earth or ArcGIS Explorer software.
PLEASE NOTE: This KML file is provided for your convenience. Display problems and other errors may occur when viewing the data in this file. The KML file and KML viewing software were not used in PEIS-related analyses or decision-making, nor for production of maps for the Draft PEIS. Within the KML file, two sets of corridor polygons are provided. One set of polygons shows the corridor outlines at ground level. The other set of polygons are shaded, and are offset 100 meters above ground level for display reasons. At low viewing angles, the shaded polygons may appear slightly offset from their actual locations; however, the ground-level polygon outlines will be shown accurately, regardless of viewing angle.
