Who Is Preparing the Programmatic EIS

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM), are co-lead agencies for this effort, with the Department of Agriculture's Forest Service (USFS) and the Department of Defense (DoD) participating as cooperating agencies.

The Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, and the Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service are preparing the West-wide Energy Corridor Programmatic EIS, with assistance from Argonne National Laboratory. DOE and BLM are co-lead agencies for this effort, with the USFS and DoD participating as cooperating agencies.
