To facilitate stakeholder engagement during the Regional Reviews, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and U.S. Forest Service have developed corridor abstracts and this online input form. The corridor abstracts are designed to help determine whether the designated corridors are achieving their intended purpose. The corridor abstracts include:
A description of the corridor,
Rationale for corridor designation,
Corridor of concern status, if applicable, and
Corridor Analysis. Corridor concerns that were identified through previous comments on corridors since the WWEC PEIS are included in a corridor analysis table. They are divided into topical areas. The BLM and FS staff reviewed the concerns to determine whether or not the concern is a constraint to development within the corridor.
The corridor abstract guidance sheet explains the contents of the abstracts as well as guidance for how to provide meaningful feedback on the Section 368 corridors for this regional review. It is recommended that you review the guidance sheet before submitting your input.
Please fill out your contact information, including the name of your organization or primary affiliation, if applicable, and select the corridor area of interest. You will not be given an option to view the corridor abstracts or corridor maps within this form until you select 'Region 1' and then the specific corridor(s). Choose 'General Region 1' if you have general feedback to share on the regional reviews that is not tied to Region 1 or a specific corridor. Check the boxes below for the topics that apply to your input. The corridor abstract guidance sheet explains the topics in detail.
